Manor Kitchen

The genesis of this kitchen was to create an updated footprint that

accommodates the technological needs of today. To do this, I learned the family uses the kitchen table

as an office and homework spot. The serving piece behind the table functions as an office storage unit as well as

a place to store large dishes, alcohol etc. What you don’t see is the cabinets below is where the printer

is hidden along with charging cables. The small pull out drawers on the upper cabinets function for pens, pencils etc.

Cool, right?

The island was reconfigured to add the sink and enlarged so 4 people could eat here if the

kitchen table is loaded with laptops, files etc. The old closet pantry with a door was removed and a new

cabinet pantry added. We added an angle cabinet at the top and layers of crown molding.

The cabinet color is new for 2020. It is called anchor, a warm gray brown.

The backsplash is an alabaster color in a 5x6 lantern pattern. It is glossy and has definition that makes it shimmer

when the lights are not on.

The perimeter counter top is white quartz with a soft gray/brown vein. The island top is a bold

bordeaux typhoon granite. The finish for the decorative lights and hardware is oil rub bronze.

The hardwood floors were refinished in a new stain color called woodshed.

All exposed cabinet ends have decorative end panels to add more dimension.

The wall color is SW9110 Malabar which is a yellow gray which complements the gray brown tones.
