This 1950's ranch home was partitioned into separate rooms. The goal was to completely open it so guests could walk in a full circle from formal living room, through dining room, kitchen and into the family room. To do this, the stairwell to the lower level had to be relocated. The cove ceilings removed which added height. The kitchen was redesigned to add an island which faced the gorgeous views of the back patio. The TV was carefully hidden on the only portion of the family room wall remaining.
